Family Hotel La Luna

We had a great time. The staff were friendly, and the all-inclusive buffet was outstanding. Over four days, no two meals were alike. The location is amazing, and I’d highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were warm, friendly, and always smiling. Thanks to the Hotel La Luna team for leaving a thoughtful surprise in my parents’ room. It made their 40th wedding anniversary celebration even more memorable. They chose the all-inclusive option at Hotel La Luna and found it excellent value. Their room was spotless, with a comfortable, high-quality mattress, a spacious bathroom, and a balcony overlooking the sea. The terrace view of the pool and sunset was breathtaking. They were very pleased with the chef and restaurant selection, especially the fish and meat dishes, freshly prepared seafood and sauces, and the snacks and drinks available through the day. As real coffee lovers, they also praised the excellent coffee. A relaxing, scenic, warmhearted getaway on the island is easy to recommend.

The staff were very friendly, and the hotel’s exterior and location were nice, around four stars for those. The room was clean, a good size, and had plenty of storage, but the furniture felt very dated. The air conditioning didn’t work well, so we were hot all night. There was no conditioner or lotion, which I’d expect at a four-star hotel. I’d rate the room two stars, like a La Quinta back home. The food was what I’d expect from a two- or three-star place. Beer and wine were fine, but I’d avoid the other drinks. I’ve had much better food at four-star all-inclusives in Mexico and the Dominican Republic. This also seemed very family-friendly, so as a couple without kids we probably should have looked elsewhere. It didn’t meet the four-star standard I’m used to in America or from the other hotels we stayed at in Croatia. If it were marketed as three stars, that would fit my expectations better and I might have given it four or five overall. As it was, it fell well short of a four-star experience. I also thought it was a little overpriced for what we got. Glad we only booked three nights.
