Villa Darte

We wanted a laid-back break somewhere off the beaten track, and Villa d'Arte in Kanfanar, Croatia, really delivered. The photos were accurate, and the Mediterranean, ocean-inspired decor and amenities made a great first impression. We drove from Pula Airport in a rental car and had a dedicated parking spot right at the property. The house had everything we could want, from well-stocked whiteware to a big TV and very stable wifi. It was clean and fully air-conditioned. A small supermarket and Cafe were just 50m away, and driving around was easy on roads in great condition. We took trips to the seaside and Rovnij, where the sea was also really warm at the end of July. The pool was a real highlight, especially the epic sunsets. The water stayed at 28 degrees, and swimming in the pool lights after dark was still a pleasure. We had lots of fun jumping in and cooling off. In the evenings, we grilled local cevapcici and sausages on the huge six-burner gas grill beside the pool. I highly recommend Villa d'Arte and the lovely staff who maintained it. I'd like to come back, and might bring our start-up for an off-site event. Thanks, guys, it was awesome.

The owners were especially great, friendly, reliable, and always available. The villa was lovely with thoughtful decor and a kitchen that had everything we needed. Our two kids had a wonderful time, and the pool was a highlight for all of us. A perfect stay, and one we can absolutely recommend!

The heated pool was a highlight, refreshing and relaxing at any time of day. We had a wonderful holiday in this tastefully furnished, clean, well-kept finca. Every room had thoughtful details, and the kitchen was so well equipped that nothing was missing. A fantastic place that we can wholeheartedly recommend. We'd love to come back!
