Just to be clear, it's not a sandy beach. It is calm and quiet, with a gentle slope into the water. It suits visitors who don't need parking.

The water is turquoise, and the beach is beautiful, though fairly small for the number of apartments nearby. It gets busier in high season. The sea entry slopes gently, so it's suitable for children and weaker swimmers. There's a beach restaurant serving hot food, drinks, and ice cream, and a large van comes by in the morning, ringing its bell to announce pastries for sale. There are no grocery stores or other shops in the area. You'll need to bring things from the grocery store about 10 minutes away by car, 7 km. It's a small, pleasant resort with no attractions, promenade, or nightlife noise, so it suits families with children and older people who aren't looking for nightlife or social activities. There's no risk of “schooping” here. For that, go to nearby Rogoznica. There are lovely views of the open sea not far from the beach.
