Apartments Villa Marija

I had a very comfortable stay in a clean apartment with a lovely balcony overlooking the Karin Sea, where I could watch the sunset each evening. I was on my own and rented a place for two for four weeks, with a separate bathroom, bedroom, and dining area. The beach and Karin village are both within walking distance, with local food shops, restaurants, and cafes in the village. There's shaded private parking at the house. The owners are thoughtful, hospitable, and very helpful. They don't speak English, but they do their best to communicate with Google Translate, or other guests can translate between English and Croatian. They even brought me lunch, dinner, or dessert sometimes. I also enjoyed meeting the other travelers staying there. This was my fourth year holidaying in this village, a peaceful and pleasant base for visiting the region, with lovely views of the Karin Sea and Velebit Mountains. I usually camp, but the campground was closed all season because of Corona, and this turned out to be a very good alternative. It's possible to rent at any time of year. I can highly recommend the stay, and I'll definitely come back. The quiet surroundings and the lovely people made it especially pleasant.
