They called off our reservation at 1 a.m. I was awake and asked where the key would be so we could get into the apartment in the morning. Otherwise, I don’t think they would even have remembered to tell us they’d canceled. Wonderful 👏👏

The guy who greeted us was really kind. We only stayed one night, and there was construction work, so we had to walk a bit. We couldn’t get the TV working, unfortunately. Everything else felt modern and very nice. I’d suggest putting a slightly darker curtain on the front door so people outside can’t see in.

We were supposed to stay in a smelly apartment for €1500, and I’d give zero stars if I could. It had no windows, felt damp, and had dehumidifiers all over the place. The landlady showed no sympathy at all. I find it unacceptable that a place like this is listed on Booking.com. They also asked us for a €100 deposit when we arrived, though that hadn’t been mentioned anywhere. We’ll be taking legal action. Inspection Addendum: The skylight (picture) is open! Photo taken on the day of arrival!

The apartment was well-equipped and clean, and it was close to both the dog show and the city center. We stayed for two days during the show and found the hosts courteous and welcoming.
