There’s a swimming spot in the river a few hundred metres away, a nice place for a summer dip. The hotel has clean, nicely furnished rooms, and parking is off the road. You can walk to a few places to eat, and there are bakeries nearby if you want fresh breakfast items in the morning.

We had a great night here. The room was clean and cozy, and the hostess was lovely. We’d booked a night in advance while travelling to the sea, about halfway through Karlovac. We also walked around the city center and visited the freshwater aquarium. We missed the Military Museum, so we’ll have to return next year, and we’ll be glad to.

We booked an apartment and let the owner know ahead of time that we’d arrive after the stated 10 pm check-in limit. He was very polite and friendly, and had no problem waiting for us. The rooms were beautiful, clean and cozy. Everything was top level, so we’re happy to give it five stars.
