Ana was a lovely host, always helpful and easy to reach when we had questions. Our group of six had plenty of room in the modern, well-equipped apartment, and the house is in a beautiful spot in Croatia. We could walk to a bakery in about 3 minutes and reach the sea in around 10, which suited a relaxing holiday perfectly. The place is under Split Airport's flight path, so planes are audible during the day. With the night flight ban, though, it didn't bother us and we slept peacefully. We were very happy with our stay and would gladly return.

My main concern was the owner entering the apartment while we were out and going through our things. This happened at least twice, in my view. At first, my son and daughter-in-law said some things seemed to have been moved, and I wasn't sure I believed them. Two days later my son stayed in, heard the owner knock twice, then watched her come inside. She left as soon as she saw him in the bedroom. I found this completely out of line and really regret not reporting it to the police. There are other things to know. The owner hadn't mentioned the planes passing overhead, though the sea is only about 600 meters away. The apartment itself is nice and well equipped, but bring your own bin bags and toilet paper.
