Apartment Vita Style

We liked it enough to add two more days to our stay. The place felt like home, was clean and a real bargain, with a fridge, AC, microwave and kettle. Highly recommend it, and I’d happily stay again.

The apartment was spacious and clean, and the hosts were nice. The downside was the planes taking off from Split airport.

We were very disappointed. The place felt moldy, dusty and filthy, with things faulty and a tedious atmosphere. The town also felt unsafe for us with two children, aged 2 and 4. People were naked on balconies, and the architecture looked ruined and tagged. It was a long way from the paradise shown in the photos.

We only meant to stay two or three nights while passing through, but ended up adding a few more days after the family shared so many good tips about Kastel and the area. We got to see and do a lot of lovely things. The landlady welcomed us warmly, and the apartment had everything we needed, including a dishwasher, air conditioning, a terrace with a garden and a grill. A supermarket, bakery and several tasty restaurants are right nearby, and the beach is about a five-minute walk. If you like fish, we especially recommend "Konoba Lemo," not far from the apartment. We had a wonderful stay, thank you! We’ll definitely come back. :)
