Apartment Zagor

The view from under the porch is lovely, especially at sunset over the sea. The location also works well, about halfway between Split and Trogir, roughly half an hour from each, though it’s a bit far from the sea. The apartment itself isn’t especially attractive, the sofa beds are uncomfortable, and hygiene leaves a lot to be desired.

We couldn’t stay and had to find another apartment straight away. The ground-floor place was so dirty, smelly and disgusting that we just stood there in disbelief. The bed had a huge drag, and there was dirt everywhere. We were afraid to touch anything. The apartment wasn’t ready when we arrived. The owner came out with a broom, though it still hadn’t been swept, and we had to wait in the heat on the terrace while he supposedly prepared it. Then he told us the electricity was out, so the boiler, fridge and air conditioning, nothing worked. That was how he handed it over. He wouldn’t refund even part of the money, thanks to Zagora! He didn’t speak a word of English and just said he wasn’t keeping us there and we could leave. He did try to hold us back 😃☝️. This isn’t suitable family accommodation. Never again, I wouldn’t advise anyone to go there.

By local standards, the price is very good. The accommodation has everything you need to be comfortable.

A quiet, cozy apartment, and the owner was very helpful.
