Mala Mara

We had a great view from our room, and the owner was polite and easy to approach. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and tableware, even a colander and shot glasses. There were large and small towels for everyone, plus shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom and hot water. My one gripe was the very blunt knife, which was hard to use; we picked up another at a nearby supermarket for a few euros. That probably won't bother anyone who doesn't cook. I'd recommend the place :)

We enjoyed the stay and would recommend it. The balcony had a nice view, and the air conditioning worked well, though you can hear aircraft taking off because the apartment is next to the airport. The owners were very polite and accommodating: using their washing machine was no problem, and after checkout we could leave our luggage in the hallway until our flight. The beach is no more than five minutes away.

The airport is close, but staying farther away might make more sense since an Uber costs about $20 even for a ride of only 2 minutes. Some dishes, the silverware, and the drawer were dirty, and they were broken too. The bathroom fan was broken as well. The window had been left open, so there were mosquitoes in the room. The TV didn't work, and the room smelled of smoke.

It takes about 10 minutes to get to the sea. Split isn't right here, but bus 37 gets you to the city center in 50 minutes. I really appreciated being able to extend my stay for a long time so I could keep the room close to my flight.
