Hotel Stacija

The sea deck right in front of the hotel was a real highlight, and the view from our sea-view room and balcony was absolutely stunning. A few more chairs and sunshades there would make it even nicer. The hotel feels far above its three-star rating. We had a wonderful stay and I’d happily recommend it.

Breakfast was good, and having it outside on the terrace was a nice experience. The parking looked small, but we managed to find a spot. Our room was smaller than expected, though clean and well maintained, with a very nice sea view. You can hear planes because the hotel is so close to the airport, but with the windows closed it wasn’t a problem. A short but lovely stay.

The beach is right outside, and the sea view from the room was just perfect. The rooms were very good, and the staff were polite and happy to help with any questions. We also ate well at the restaurant, where the waitress was lovely. My one wish is for a shower on the first floor, since lots of flights leave after checkout time. It’s a lovely place to unwind by the sea.

We really liked coming back here in the evenings. It’s calm, especially after the bustle of Split, and there’s a waterfront path that runs for about 20 kilometers if you fancy a walk. The hotel sits right on the Adriatic, with a handy location roughly 10 minutes by car from Split airport, 15 from Trogir, and 25 from Split Old Town. The staff were great and the service was good. Our sea-view room was on the small side, but it was laid out well, and the balcony was huge. The view made up for the lack of space. There’s one restaurant, with seats inside and out, and we really enjoyed our meals there.
