The location worked so well for us. Shops, cafes, and restaurants are all an easy walk away, and the beach is just a few minutes on foot. I've been to other beaches nearby, but this one was well maintained, had a cafe right on it, a lovely view, and wasn't too crowded. Split and Trogir were also a short drive away, and the hosts pointed us toward some ruins at Salona, which we really enjoyed. We had free parking on site with our rental car, and the airport was only about 10 minutes from the house, handy after a long flight. Back at Villa Barbara, the shared outdoor area had a heated pool that my daughter loved, plus an outdoor stove and seating area we could use. The apartment was gorgeous and came stocked with everything we needed. The hosts were incredibly welcoming. Our last vacation there was amazing, so I'm going back this year.

We stayed for the whole month of June 2023, and most days we made the roughly 10-minute walk to the local beach to relax by the Adriatic. Coming back to the Villa for a swim in the pool afterward was lovely. There are also shops and restaurants within walking distance. We rented a car at the airport and used it to travel to Venice and Pula halfway through the stay. For Split, the nearby bus stop was really useful, and we took the bus a few times to see the old city. The accommodation was wonderful, with a great outdoor area for a BBQ and a few cold pivo in the evening. Our hosts were so accommodating and helped with anything we needed, thanks again. It was a wonderful, relaxing stay, and we hope to return.

We spent September 1-7, 2024 at Villa Barbara and had an amazing stay. The apartment was spacious, modern, beautiful, and clean, with everything we needed, even a coffeemaker. The bed was comfortable, and having a ceiling fan over it was a nice extra. From the balcony we could see the refreshing heated pool, the sea, and the marina. I wish we could have stayed forever. The host welcomed us warmly and suggested things to do nearby. They also pointed us to a pekara within walking distance, the best one in the country as far as we were concerned after trying many. The location is convenient for the airport, Split, and Trogir, and there's plenty to do in Kastel too. We'll book again on our next trip to this amazing country. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

The outdoor area was beautiful, with a private pool, and it's close to amenities. There's a short walk to a scenic beach with lots of space and a beach bar. Great location too, with plenty to see and superb restaurants all around. The accommodation gets 5 out of 5 from me, very clean, and appointed with everything you could need.
