Villa Cezar

The room was nice and clean, the balcony had a lovely view, and the sheets and towels were changed every couple of days. We mostly just slept there while travelling around, so the nearby area worked well for us. It’s pleasant, and the main local bus route to Trogir and Split stops right outside. There was no staff on site, though, and the reception was marked “closed.” We had to call a number while standing outside with our cases, then find the key in a wall box. We also had to text that number to arrange breakfast, which we’d paid for when booking bed and breakfast. Nobody showed up on two mornings. On our last night, there was no reply about breakfast the next morning, but we went down anyway. Everything was dark and empty. I rang several times and sent texts, with no answer. We needed to eat before our airport transfer, so we rushed to a local shop for fruit and breakfast biscuits. There was no reply all morning. We’d asked how to check out and where to leave the key, but got no response to that either, so we left it where we’d found it. We were ignored several times despite having paid for breakfasts that we didn’t receive twice. If we’d needed anything, no one was on site, and calls and texts were answered very inconsistently. It might not suit people wanting to spend much time at the hotel.
