The museum section was astonishing, and the owner’s care shows in the details. It’s a very peaceful spot, well away from the nearest city, with pools below the houses and a great view. You can swim whenever you like, even at night, and there’s a little playground for kids. There are several houses to pick from. One has its bathroom and kitchen downstairs, so you have to go outside to reach them, but I didn’t mind. Keeping the kitchen separate may also help keep insects there. The owner was really helpful. For the drive, I’d take the road from Vrgorac by hotel Prvan, since it’s different from what Google Maps shows. Great for families who want quiet, though be ready for bees. They were the only problem we had. We’ll definitely return. It was one of our best stays, maybe the best.
