Apartment Mistral

Antonio seemed like a nice guy, but we came for a place we could enjoy, and ended up moving to another apartment. So far it looks like we've lost the booking fees for all 9 nights because Antonio can't or won't refund us. The apartment itself is very small and dark, even though it and the patio look like the pictures. The bigger problem was having no privacy outside: the patio is shared by many mini apartments, and there's a motorcycle repair shop right there where a man spends most of the day working. Sitting outside meant smelling motorcycle oil instead of the Adriatic Sea and listening to repairs. There are also 2-3 apparently poorly maintained AC units nearby, and when they start up, their noise replaces the sounds of the sea and nature. I can see this being an acceptable place for 1-2 nights if you just need somewhere to sleep while visiting Dubrovnik during the day. For a longer stay, I wouldn't recommend it because you can't really enjoy the apartment or patio.
