The meal was amazing, home cooked in a barbecue oven, and the host was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable too. The location worked perfectly for us, just a five minute drive from the airport. Highly recommend 😃

The host was kind, and the place is close to the airport, but the rooms were a letdown. We booked two on the first floor of the small building to the side. One was clean, but the other wasn’t really, and a pipe smell from its bathroom lingered all night. The mattresses were in very bad shape and uncomfortable, and one of us had to sleep on a very old, uncomfortable couch. It was around 5 degrees outside, and there was no heating in the bedrooms. We were freezing.

The place itself is nice, but our experience with the host wasn’t great. We had said when booking that we’d be late, then messaged again well in advance on arrival day to explain and apologize for the unexpected delay, since we were driving straight from Plitvice. The host was angry that we hadn’t asked her to collect us from the airport for a fee. She was also upset that we didn’t buy breakfast from her or book a tour through her.
