The pizza was good, and despite what some other reviews said, the dough tasted freshly made. The jumbo pizzas were enormous, more than our group of four adults and three kids needed. The men’s and women’s bathrooms were awful, with black mold everywhere. Coffee was ridiculously pricey too: three double espressos cost €24, more than in New York City. The kids’ juice was €6, the same price as a beer. It was the only place in the area open to eat on a Sunday, though.

We arrived hungry and late on an ordinary Wednesday during the shoulder season. The server was friendly and made us feel welcome. We sat on the outdoor terrace and shared a large Ragusa pizza with bacon and gorgonzola. It was delicious and so huge we had enough left to enjoy on the road trip the next day. The owner/server did warn us there’d be a lot, but we have no regrets. Nice atmosphere.

The staff are warm and welcoming, and the service is quick. The pizzas taste amazing, with fresh ingredients and a perfectly crisp crust. You can tell care goes into making each one. A great pick for pizza lovers.

In Gruda, this little pizzeria comes with a lovely mountain view, which not many places can offer. The portions are generous: a normal pizza was plenty for us, with some left to take home, and there are larger ones too. Service was great and the price reasonable. Takeaway is available.
