The place was set up really well, with a roomy apartment and its own parking space behind a folding street barrier. Renato, the owner, and Natalya, the caretaker, were both very nice and helpful. Inside, it was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed, including a small tabletop fridge, a two-burner hob, and kitchen utensils. We spent time relaxing by the shared 10-metre pool and by the sea, where the owner provides sunbeds and parasols. The Adriatic was clear and lovely for swimming and snorkeling, and there were two SUP boards for heading out on the water. A nice spot for a laid-back holiday away from the big tourist crowds.

The staff were kind and always willing to help, and the location worked really well, close to the sea, a restaurant, and a shop. Dubrovnik airport is nearby, too. For me, this is the best place in the region.

The garden is a lovely touch, with the Villa owners growing vegetables, olives, oranges, and lemons there. Renato is a super friendly owner, and the indoor pool gave the kids a place to relax and have fun after diving classes. For family scuba divers, these are the best apartments in Molunat: the rooms are high standard and look out over beautiful Molunat Bay, just a few meters from Sea Star Diving Center. I did notice two small drawbacks: pets aren't allowed, and WiFi could reach better, especially out by the pool and on the balconies.

The view is nice for the price. I'd suggest bringing your own car, though, since the bus only runs a few times a day and it's hard to get an Uber.

Villa Molunat was a fabulous place for grown-ups and kids alike, and we miss it so much. The owners were very friendly. Hopefully the pandemic ends soon so we can come back!
