We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Sandra and hope to come back next year. It's a lovely, quiet mountain village and a good spot for a peaceful break or exploring real Croatia and local life. You'll need a car, and the nearest shop is about 4 km away. Dubrovnik airport is roughly a 30-minute drive, though the host can arrange a taxi. The hosts were super friendly and professional. Even though we arrived after midnight, they welcomed us, showed us around, and shared information and recommendations. There was local wine in the fridge, and the coffee machine was ready for the morning. The accommodation was clean and very nice, with the look of a new build or recent decoration. It had the appliances we needed, including a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, towels, and toiletries. Air conditioning is only in the main bedroom and the sitting room/kitchen. There's a jacuzzi on the balcony and a swimming pool in the back garden. A car is a good idea here. The nearest beach is about 20 minutes away, and well worth the drive. The location is peaceful, the views are amazing, and everything we needed was provided. The hosts were incredibly friendly. There's very little light pollution at night, so you can relax under the stars from the jacuzzi. Or walk about 10 minutes out of the village for a spectacular view of the Milky Way.

We had a perfect holiday in a very quiet spot. Dubrovnik and Montenegro are easy to reach by car, but the hosts were the best part of the stay. They were both super friendly, quick to answer our questions, and gave us great tips. We highly recommend it. :-)
