Aminess Younique Korčula Heritage Hotel

The staff were wonderful and helpful, and they let us leave our bags when we arrived well before check-in. The hotel sits right in Old Town, convenient for the ferry port, bus station, and tours, and the breakfast was perfectly satisfying. It was a great base for exploring Korčula. Our room’s lovely skylights had no covers, so it never got very dark, which may bother sensitive sleepers. We were also near the stairs and could hear people talking and going up and down. The bathroom was pretty small, though typical for European hotels.

Bruna’s warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made our stay memorable. Her thoughtful tips helped us discover the best of the island, and she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The hotel’s location is superb, the food was fresh and authentically local, and the recently updated rooms were comfortable and stylish. We’re very grateful to Bruna for making the experience so special.

The meal at 7 Seas Restaurant was a highlight. The scallop starter, slow Roasted Lamb, and Beef Fillet were all flavorful and beautifully presented, and they suggested a wonderful Croatian wine to go with the fillet. Breakfast outside was relaxing too, with a buffet and cappuccinos and hot entrées we ordered. After a short stroll by the water, checkout was seamless, and it was an easy 8 min walk to catch our ferry to Split. Thank you, Heritage Hotel, for a wonderful visit. This lovely boutique hotel is ideally placed for Korčula and Old Town. We arrived well before check-in after taking the 8:05AM ferry from Dubrovnik, but luckily had been upgraded to a room that was ready. There’s no elevator, and staff kindly offered to carry our bags to the 2nd floor, though we didn’t need help. Our clean room had a water view, fresh coastal furnishings, welcome refreshments, and amenities, and service was friendly throughout.

We loved our four nights and would definitely return. The food, service, and location at this beautiful hotel were exceptional. The one letdown was the breakfast pack for our early trip back to Dubrovnik. It had an old apple, a hard orange, a huge bread roll, and a bottle of water. They need to do better with that.
