Apartments Karisima

The hosts were terrific and very helpful, and they surprised us with wine made from their 90-year-old vines. The place is close to the port and town centre, yet wonderfully quiet. Highly recommended.

The large balcony was a lovely spot for coffee, beer, or wine, with great views from every window. We stayed three nights in the upstairs apartment and had a great time. It was bright, beautifully furnished, and matched the photos exactly. There’s a well-equipped kitchen, which I appreciated as someone who loves to cook, and it was nice to use local produce for breakfast. The apartment also has one and a half bathrooms and a washing machine. The local family of four rents out two apartments, one upstairs and one downstairs. Their adult daughters help with bookings and communication. Tajana and Ivan came by to say hello, and when we had a small issue they responded quickly. The night before we left, they brought us a sample of their homemade wine. They were very communicative throughout. It’s about five minutes to the old town and ferry dock, though there are stairs on the way, so keep that in mind if mobility is a concern. We’d recommend the place to friends and would consider booking again when we return.

Ivana was a helpful host and gave us some good ideas for places to eat and things to see. The accommodation was cosy and very clean, with a great location within walking distance of the heart of Korčula. A lovely place to stay while visiting.

Ivana is a really friendly host, and the place is spotlessly clean. It’s also extremely close to the old town. A very nice place to stay!
