The hosts are friendly, accommodating, and never intrusive. This is my third year in a row and my fourth stay at Apartments Žuvela in Korčula, and I can see myself returning every summer. I've stayed in both the one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. They're not modern, which doesn't bother me, and have what you need: WiFi, AC, a large, comfortable bed, a sofa that converts to another bed, and a fully equipped kitchen. The terraces are wonderful, overlooking old-town Korčula and Pelješac. For a swim, you can cross the street and go down the stairs to a paved spot with sun and shade. There's also a beach 200 meters away, with a small beach bar. Old-town Korčula is a 15-minute walk, and the island has plenty of restaurants and wineries worth visiting.

The view was wonderful, and it was quiet and relaxing. There’s a spot across the road, about 30 meters away, where you can swim in the sea, and the old town of Korčula is close. But the host was hard to reach, and cleanliness wasn't a strong point. An awful smell came from a locked room, and our towels and bed linen weren't changed during our six days. Some other tourists said the host welcomed them as guests and gave them wine, but that didn't happen for us. Still, it was nice in the end.

The bay is peaceful, and you're right by the sea, close to Korčula city center. I'd recommend it for an enjoyable stay.

The hosts are excellent, happy to help, and offer ideas for what to see and where to go on the island. It has a pleasant, homey feel, with clean, spacious rooms, a kitchen with all the equipment, and a great terrace overlooking the canal and Peljesac. Korčula center is just a 10-minute walk away. And the local wine is fantastic!
