Breakfast was the thing Hotel Teodoro got right: simple, tasty and satisfying. The rooms are tiny, the bathrooms compact but functional, and the floors squeak enough that you’ll know what the upstairs neighbours are doing. It’s right in the lively heart of Korčula, so street musicians, drunken laughter and the occasional loud shout may keep you up. The hotel does provide earplugs. A charming little place if you’re after atmosphere, since sleep is optional.

We loved being able to wander around the historic center at night from this location. The management clearly works hard, and the rooms were spotless and kept in good shape. Breakfast was simple, though better quality than what we’ve had at bigger hotels. The room and especially the bathroom are very small, but the size is shown on Booking.com and there’s not much the hotel can do about it. Parking for a whole day isn’t available at the hotel because it’s right in the historic center. Free parking at a nearby shopping center is an option, though the walk back involves a bit of an uphill climb. We paid extra for a balcony, but its floor was just wooden planks, so we didn’t feel comfortable stepping out during our stay.

The staff were so kind. When they found out we’d be leaving before breakfast, they packed us something to take along the night before. The included breakfast was fantastic, the sort of meal you could easily pay €15 for at a restaurant. Our room was lovely too. We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t recommend it more.

The staff were SO helpful and kind, and the room was both beautiful and comfortable. It’s also really handy for the ferry and the old city. We loved staying here and would absolutely come back.

We stayed in a comfortable room in the newly refurbished annex near the old town gate house. Guests can also use the roof terrace.
