The owners were lovely and welcomed us with chocolate-filled crepes, on the house. We found the beds comfortable and the bathroom very clean. Restaurants and markets in Korenica are just a few minutes’ walk from the building. A great base for the Plitvice Lakes / Plješivica area.

They welcomed us and checked us in at night, then offered tea or coffee and cookies in the morning for an extra €1 per person. It’s a nice guesthouse near the lakes. The rooms are private, though the bathroom and toilet are shared. Soap and towels are provided, but there’s no TV.

The owner was incredibly kind, and the room was right in central Korenica. We had parking for the car and a place to stay the night.
