We waited ages to place our order. You only came after we called out, and we had to ask for the menu ourselves. Even though it was clear we wanted food, nobody came to take our order. Meanwhile, the table next to us, whose guests spoke Croatian, was served right away. Since we don't speak Croatian, we felt discriminated against. Really disappointing, especially because the location would have been great. The service wasn't.

The service was excellent, and the hotel was nice and tidy. Breakfast was amazing and fresh, and the price was very good for what you get.

The restaurant downstairs was great, and the staff kindly helped me clean up after a muddy bike ride. I could leave my bike in the laundry room overnight and charge the battery there. My room was clean, with spotless towels and sheets, but it smelled because of a bathroom drainage problem. The place could use a makeover.

There’s no beach, and the rooms are in poor shape with mold everywhere. The manager was the worst part.

The receptionist’s attitude was awful, and our room felt cramped, dingy, and a little smelly. At 50 EUR a night, I expected at least to feel welcome. I’d tell people to keep going to the next town. If zero stars were possible, that’s what I’d give.
