The view from the house is lovely, and it’s peaceful and private. But the upstairs rooms have such low ceilings that you can’t stand straight, and with just one bathroom it gets crowded at full capacity, which is five people. There were six of us, and only three toilet paper rolls had been left. The owner expected us to bring our own beach towels, though we managed to get some brought over. For a pool or jacuzzi house, we believe towels should be provided. We agreed through Facebook to pay HRK 2.200 for one night, but were disappointed to find a price list in the house showing HRK 1.200 per night. Booking listed that same lower rate. The owner offered a few explanations: there was one more person than on the price list, which would mean one person added HRK 1.000; wine was included, though the owner had offered to bring it and never told us its price, so we thought it was a gift; we checked out late, even though the price was agreed before we asked about checkout; and hen nights cost more, although we weren’t having one and hadn’t been asked if we were. We also wondered why the occasion would affect the price. After we explained our concerns, the owner said, “But I apologised so much to you for the lack of toilet paper.” Later, she told us the price for six people for one night was 2.200, and for two nights it was 2.500. When we asked why we hadn’t been offered the second night at that small extra cost, she said she didn’t want to pressure us. Enough said.

The house was beautiful, and the hosts were excellent. They made sure the basics were there, and left some extras too, like coffee and wine. Highly recommended if you want a secluded place with a lovely view and peaceful atmosphere, away from the city crowds.

We loved the house, terrace, and garden. It was all green and peaceful, with no noise. The hosts were super nice and easy to communicate with. 10/10!
