Villa Camellia

The garden was a highlight, with plenty of shade, four loungers, an outdoor shower, and a hose for rinsing our dog in the 32-38 degree heat. The village shop, open until 9 pm every day, has almost everything, and there’s a pleasant little bar by the beach. There are lots of beaches and excursions nearby, though with a dog we had to check where we could go. One tip for arriving: ignore the GPS route from above and approach from the lower end of the street, by the shop. We stayed for 10 days at the end of June. The house is modern, well equipped, and very well cared for, with a roughly 7x7-meter pool that’s 1.5 meters deep. The owner was friendly and answered questions right away. We brought a ramp in case our dog fell into the pool while playing, and covered the sofa with waterproof blankets. There’s German satellite TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. The upstairs and downstairs hallway air conditioners can be controlled separately. We enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace off the living room.
