The hotel is the only one in Pasadur, but it’s definitely not three-star quality, more like one or two stars. The lobby and room floors were very dirty, and the room furniture was old and dirty too. Service felt like a two-star place, and it was overpriced. We’d chosen to stay here after 15 days in very basic accommodation without a regular bathroom and with lizards, so we’re definitely not fussy people.

The location was the one good thing, along with the friendly owner. The rest wasn’t worth it, and I think a real apartment would be a better choice. We had a terrible night on the pull-out couch, which I wouldn’t recommend for four people. An old phone started ringing overnight, bugs got in while we slept, and the whole setup was a mess. The room itself was clean. Breakfast wasn’t too bad, but the presentation was: you walk into an old room and pick food from random plates. Outside the restaurant it smelled like a sewer, and cats tried to get at our food and drinks. Even the greeting was off, the guy barely looked at us, spoke very quietly and unclearly, and had a strange, miserable attitude.

Loud music is played every night for one group staying there, and it ruins the experience for everyone else around the entire bay. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for peace and quiet. And if peace and quiet aren’t what you’re after, why come to Lastovo?

The food is extremely expensive for mediocre quality. The fish soup was 45kn, and the salad was 25kn, then they brought industrial oil and vinegar. They even charge for bread. In Dubrovnik old town, you can get proper seafood risotto for 65. The staff are nice and friendly.
