The quiet surroundings were a real plus, and it’s only a 15 min drive to the national park entrance. Our spotless room had everything we needed to stay warm and unwind. Svetlana and her husband welcomed us right away and were fantastic hosts. We tried their dinner, which was delicious, with locally cooked food that hit the spot after a long day exploring the Plitvice Lakes National Park. Breakfast is available too. We had an amazing stay at Apartments Celopek and hope to return someday. Can’t recommend it enough.

We stayed three nights, and the apartment was clean and cozy. The hosts were so kind and accommodating. Make sure to try breakfast and dinner, they were better then in restaurant. Highly recommend!

The family was welcoming but discreet, and the rustic rooms were clean. I spent four nights here and was glad I chose this place, even though I drove 300 km a day to see the surrounding area. It's a little heaven for resting. If you want a good, inexpensive meal, ask the housewife to prepare specific dishes for you. Next time I'm in this part of the world, I'll stay here again. I recommend it to you as well.

The yard is great, there's badminton gear and a swimming pool, and you can opt for a great dinner for 19 euro. It's also quiet in the evenings and mornings. A great hostess is ready to help with whatever you need, and this is a handy base for visiting the waterfalls, see my other reviews for tips where and how. A few things to know: as the information says, kitchen and bath supplies like shampoo, shower gel and tin foil aren't provided, and there's no airco. Some windows lack insect screens, and the curtains let in morning light. If you can live with those things, that's all the bad stuff there is!
