We couldn't find public transport to Motovun, and the nearest larger town only had taxis. The staff kindly arranged a ride with a neighbor for us, which was really nice. The hotel itself has a gourmet truffle restaurant and a truffle shop, and the rooms have beautiful design. Service was excellent, there’s a pool, and breakfast was perfect, especially the truffle salami and scrambled eggs with truffle. Highly recommended!

The bed frame sticks out, so I kept bumping my legs on its protruding feet. Aside from that, the room was attractive, with two sinks in the bathroom. The toilet was in its own separate room, with a vanity and bidet. We stayed one night and had an excellent breakfast, if you’re a truffle fan, of course.

The place is really remote, and getting to Motovum takes a bit of effort, especially with the road resurfacing that was happening at the end of 2018. Staying overnight makes sense if you’re also going to Zigante for a truffle tasting. The room was spacious, with a large bathroom, bathtub, and two sinks. There was a separate toilet with its own sink too.

Only 3 rooms, all furnished in a retro style, and everything was very clean. The bathroom was great, with a separate toilet. Breakfast was superb: yogurt, jam, tasty little rolls, tea and coffee, plus truffle cheese and salami, prosciutto, and egg dishes topped with freshly shaved truffles. If you love truffles, you simply have to go to Zigante. A stay with the Truffle King!

We were delighted with the accommodation, the service, and everyone’s kindness. The place is beautiful, and the modern rooms were clean and had more than we needed. We’ll definitely be back! :)
