Villa Yania

The grounds and pool were lovely, and the house felt cozy with nice furnishings. But the price was much too high for a place with so many problems. The water smelled strongly of chlorine, so we avoided using it to brush our teeth or cook. The shower barely had any water and never got properly hot, and the regular tap had the same issue. The refrigerator also didn’t work right. We skipped doing laundry because the washing machine smelled awful. The beds creaked whenever we moved, and one had already broken and was propped up with a wooden block. The room doors were badly crooked, scraping the floor and making a lot of noise whenever anyone opened or closed them. At that price, the house shouldn’t have these defects.

The beach is close by, and there are great restaurants in the area. The house gets shaded in the afternoon, though. It was filthy, and the vacuum cleaner and shower were among the broken things. We couldn’t reach the landlord at all, which made leaving early impossible. The poor service means I can’t recommend it.

Peace and quiet, sea and pool ❤️ The house was beautifully decorated, and the surroundings were lovely.
