The island views from this fantastic location were amazing, and the boat transfer was a great experience. Staff were friendly, too. Our room was lovely, though it had only been set up for two even though we booked for three. Reception sorted out the extra bedding and towels when we asked. The lights also kept tripping, so hopefully that's been fixed for whoever stays next. Lopud is well worth visiting for a relaxing holiday.

The reception team were friendly and service was good, though there are a few things to sort out. My room-service drink never showed up, and my towels weren't changed during my seven-night stay. The beach towels only got changed after we asked. Reception could also use more staff at peak times.

We had no issues with the hotel and will definitely return. The private beach was clean and not crowded, with a bar nearby serving food and drinks. Staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to help with questions, excursions, or recommendations. Our room was great and had an amazing view, and the whole hotel was clean. Lopud's location worked perfectly for us: close enough to Dubrovnik and easy to reach, but away from the busy city. One of the best hotels I've stayed in.

The evening entertainment was good each night, though the place didn't have much atmosphere. It's a nice hotel on a beautiful island, but the stay didn't quite feel like the four-star experience we'd hoped for. Breakfast was below average for a four-star hotel, and the staff weren't especially helpful. The help desk closed for staff meetings, and nobody told us the boat timetable had changed for the national holiday, which wasn't great for people checking out that day. I couldn't find anyone available for bike hire either. The spa closes a bit early, and its opening hours seemed odd. There were no irons in the room or available at all, which I've never come across in a four-star hotel. They do offer an ironing service, but that's not handy when you just want to quickly press clothes for the evening.

We loved how friendly and peaceful the place felt, and the rooms were fresh and modern. Breakfast was amazing and so were the staff. The evening dinner at "The Baja" could've been better, both the food and the waiters' attention to their work. The bed and pillows were hard, though that's down to what you're used to. We left in the middle of the night, and the receptionist had thoughtfully packed a breakfast bag for each of us to eat on the way home. Such a kind gesture.
