Apartment Nada

The service and surroundings were impeccable. Easily the best place we stayed during our entire two weeks in Croatia. Loved it!

We only spent one night at Villa Nada, but the host kindly upgraded us to a larger room for the price of the smaller one we booked. The apartment had everything we needed, the staff were lovely, and the garden and view were both very nice. We brought our two cats too, which was fine for an extra charge. There’s a lovely little path through the forest down to the coast. The four stars are because the breakfast didn’t match the “from their garden” description very well. There were cherries from the garden, but nothing else that seemed local. I know that depends on the season, though I expected more local produce for the advertised breakfast and its price. The food felt like cheap supermarket quality, with no fresh juice. There was plenty of it, but it was tasteless, and I really didn’t enjoy it.

The bay views from Villa Nada are stunning, especially from its elevated setting, and the place has a wonderfully cozy feel in the evening around the honesty bar. The caring staff made us feel welcome throughout. Breakfast was a treat, with fresh ingredients, some from the garden. You can tell the owners care about hospitality and have brought ideas from their travels into the experience. A warm and comfortable retreat for a peaceful stay.

This romantic, peaceful place has a lovely atmosphere, and the owners are so kind and helpful. We’re back for a second visit and already know it won’t be our last. The homemade breakfasts are delicious, the best we’ve had anywhere.
