Charming Apartment With Sea Views and Shared Pool

The pool was fantastic, kept clean and cleaned every day. We had the yard and pool to ourselves because we stayed at the end of June, at the start of the summer holidays and probably before the season. Still, on our departure day both rooms upstairs were ready for guests, and I can only imagine how annoyed I'd have been if everything had been fully booked. The yard was tidy, but there are two balconies over the garden from the rental rooms. Sitting at “your” table can feel like being watched from above, which the listing should make clear. We were surprised when we first went into the cottage and then noticed the rooms above us. The cottage is clean and well looked after, though the room sizes are quite different from the photos. Three people with a fold-out bed could feel cramped. The kitchen is tiny, but that's manageable if you're the only one cooking. The owner is very nice, though she only speaks German. If you know about these drawbacks and still like the place, then it's fine. I recommend Lovran.
