Lovran is a good base for outings, with Italy around 40 km away and Ljubljana less than an hour by car. The hotel is about 150-200 meters from the sea, surrounded by greenery and close to public transport. From the front windows, you can see the water. Our room wasn't large, but it was comfortable and very clean. The air conditioning worked well and had no musty smell. Towels were provided, and staff cleaned the halls and stairs every day. You can park on site for a fee, or look for free parking nearby. Breakfast was generous and tasty, with plenty to choose from: ham, salami, poultry and pork dishes, pâtés, yellow and white cheeses, fruit, pastries, pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages, roasted peppers, zucchini and more. Ms. Mira greeted restaurant guests warmly, and her smile added to the meal. The reception staff were courteous, spoke English fluently and were patient with tourists. Ms. Monika was especially kind and helpful. Although it’s called a hostel, the place felt more like a hotel. I was very satisfied with my stay and would recommend it for a getaway.

Anđela at reception and Mira at breakfast were so professional and kind, they’re a real credit to the hostel. The food was excellent, the rooms were tidy, and the staff made for a lovely break. The sea is about five minutes away, and the view was beautiful. I recommend the place wholeheartedly. My one complaint is the extra charge for parking at the hostel. I’ve never come across that before, and I’d expect parking to be free. There are some free spots in front of the hotel, though, so you might be lucky and find one.

The room was clean, with fresh sheets and comfortable pillows, which matters a lot to me. Reception made check-in quick and easy, and the staff were welcoming. The location is peaceful and quiet, just right for a relaxing stay. There are activities for adults and kids, including billiards and table tennis, as well as a bar area. Breakfast costs extra. We had a comfortable, pleasant stay and would recommend it.

The beach is barely a minute away on foot, and the hotel has a nice private parking option for 15 euros. There’s also free parking in front. Our room was clean, pleasant and very comfortable, and breakfast was good too. Thank you!
