A meal here was an unforgettable experience above Lovran, with a breathtaking view. Every dish showed real skill in its flavor, technique, and presentation, refined and complex but still deeply satisfying. From the amuse-bouche through dessert, everything was well balanced and timed. The staff were warm, professional, and attentive without hovering. It felt like a journey, not just dinner. A must-visit in the Opatija area if you enjoy fine dining with nature as the backdrop.

The hotel has a charming look perched on the cliff. I like the wood over the entrance, it reminds me of a wooden cottage. The service is kind and helpful, and the restaurant’s Michelin stars are well deserved because the food is tasty. It’s a shame chef Deni Srdoč is moving to Germany, he was very good 😢. The best in 2022.

Get there before sunset if you can, the restaurant and hotel sit at the top of a hill and the location is amazing. The food was incredible, the wine pairing spot on, and the desserts delicious. We began with fig and speck, an interesting combination, along with bread and olive oil. The cold fish and seafood plate was outstanding, and came with a great explanation and presentation. Then came seafood risotto and gnocci, both tasty and creamy, with so many flavors. For the mains, we had what was probably the best octopus I’ve ever eaten, served in a sauce, and amberjack/yellow tail that was full of flavor. Dessert was creamy lemon sorbet and three different rich cakes. It was far too much food, but the whole experience was amazing and worth it. Nobody felt heavy or bloated afterward. The waiter and owner were friendly, clear, and knew how to read the table. Impeccable service. Grazie! Hvala! One of the best restaurants in Croatia, and I’d recommend everyone experience it.
