The apartment was very clean, well equipped, and the staff were kind and helpful. Since it’s managed by the nearby hotel, we could also use the pool, beach and spa, which was a big help. We’d come back, and next time we’d pick the sea-facing apartment. We stayed in the one by the road and it was still okay, but if you have a stroller, ask for a ground-floor unit. It’s easy to get around from here, with the lungomare, beaches, old town, market place, post office, pharmacy, supermarket and restaurants all nearby. We only found the lack of an oven inconvenient, and the yard table could be bigger. It was fine for the two of us, but might be tricky with more people. In general, highly recommended.

The rooms are modern and in great shape, and it’s only a few minutes’ walk to the “beach.” Villa Atlanta’s pool isn’t fancy, but it does the job. The water was far too low when we visited, though, so the outlets kept making these strange Steven King noises. Haha. A big extra point for the friendly staff at Hotel Excelsior, where you collect the keys and can use the facilities. The bar there is amazing, with the greatest view ever.

We booked an apartment with a view and ended up on the busy street side with no view. The pool was broken too. They should tell guests and give them the option of booking somewhere else.

The apartments are great, with air conditioning and a lovely terrace, plus a pool and beach. The parking situation is poor, though: only three spaces for 14 apartments? Reception is about 200 m away at another hotel, and the man there was very rude and unhelpful. That’s why I’m giving four stars.

The room was completely different from what we expected, and the outdoor pool wasn’t working. We hadn’t been given the booking we chose, and there was no way to cancel, so we were really disappointed with how the hotel management handled it. I definitely wouldn’t recommend booking here.
