The living room couch could be better, but the bedroom has a huge bed and the apartment is enormous. It's fully equipped, with two air conditioners, a microwave, and a TV. The taverna is in a great spot, with comfy garden chairs that were perfect for playing Belot.

The view is lovely and everything was very clean. The floor gets pretty cold, though, and they don't supply slippers, so bring your own.

Parking isn't right by the house, and there's nowhere to hang wet towels, so we had to spread things out. The rooms were clean apart from a few cobwebs, but the kitchen was short on basics: no bowls or garbage bags, and with four of us one bag filled quickly. The walls were marked by suitcases and other things and could do with fresh paint.

For two people, the sleeping setup works well, though the pull-out bed for a third or fourth person is very wobbly. There are only two hotplates if you plan to cook. Swimming was good, but eating at Hotel Bristol, even breakfast, wasn't worthwhile because the food wasn't very good. It isn't ideal for independent travelers. Still, the hike to Vojak is well worth it: long at 7.5 hours, but the view is beautiful.
