My wife and I stayed for 3nights/4days, and the staff at Villa Astra were amazing. The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean, and the whole property, indoors and out, was a peaceful place to rest. As soon as we stepped into the backyard, we knew we'd picked the right place in Lovran. This is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast, and we'll definitely stay again!

The villa is historical and lovely, and the location is great. The receptionist was professional and nice, and breakfast was very good, with amazing views. For the price of a room, though, maintenance needs attention. The shutters were very hard to open, and the AC didn't cool the room properly. There also seemed to be little attention to detail: there were lots of garbage bins by the main reception entrance, and old sun chairs were being stored in the garden.

We only stayed three nights, but genuinely enjoyed them. Many thanks to the team and the owner, Mr. Vjekoslav, for making it pleasant. The Villa has a beautiful, special charm, and we especially loved having breakfast outside on the terrace. The little bay in front is nice and private for a swim.

We loved our stay. The hotel has a free parking lot and is a 6 min drive from Auschwitz memorial. The staff were friendly and sweet, and the restaurant was excellent for lunch and dinner, with a fantastic breakfast spread too. Our room was spacious, very comfortable, quiet, and really clean. The beds were comfortable, the room stayed warm during our cold November visit, and the lighting was good, including in the bathroom. The shower was nice and had hot water.

The room was clean and well cared for, with attention to every little detail. Add the terrace and breathtaking view, and that's already enough for me to recommend a stay.
