A car is pretty much essential here, so it won't suit a holiday based on public transport. Still, it's a good budget option. Our room was missing a few basics, including a bin, though the water boiler was handy. There wasn't a microwave, and nobody cleaned the room during our stay. Maybe you have to request that.

The rooms are small, but the host was friendly and the location works perfectly for visiting the waterfalls. There's a shop on the first floor open until 22.00, and lots of cats around. I already miss my favourite, the tiger-like one with a white spot on its tail. Don't forget to feed her!

You're about 5k from shops and 6k from krka waterfalls, so you'll need a car or could rent a bike for 50kuna a day. Check the bike carefully before taking it. They charge for any damage, and I got the impression they may try to give you one that's already damaged so they can make more money.

The apartment has been modernized and was really clean. The hosts know the National Park of Krka well and were very helpful when I needed assistance. Say hello to Medo for me, okay?!
