The apartment is in a basement and has very old furniture. The septic tank smell makes an already poor impression even worse. It’s a shame because the location is nearly perfect, right by the sea, but the hosts don’t seem to look after the place. The furniture looks like it’s from the 1980s, it isn’t cleaned regularly, and maintenance is very poor. Charging this much for a place like this feels embarrassing and insolent. I feel sorry for our friends staying there with their children. We were visiting them. They couldn’t find another place because everything nearby was booked, and the host insisted they pay the full amount in advance.

The apartment was great, with a beautiful balcony and a beach with natural shade just a minute away. Badija and Vrnik are a five-minute boat ride away, and Korčula city and Lumbarda are nine minutes by car. The people were great too, and it’s a quiet, friendly place.

The location is superb, and the outside of the building has been renovated. Inside the ground-floor apartments with a view, though, the furniture is second-hand, very old, and heavily worn. All the chairs are mismatched, and the double bed had a dip in it that made sleeping impossible for us. There was no shower curtain, so everything in the bathroom got wet. The air conditioning remotes were shared around because there were fewer remotes than units. We couldn’t find a Wi-Fi signal, there were no bulbs in the lamps, and the interior doors had no keys. The place was dirty overall, so cleaning doesn’t seem to be a strong point. The landlord promises too much and, when asked for photos, only sends pictures of one apartment, the one that looks best. Be careful.

The sea view and seafront terraces, with an oven, summer kitchen, and grill, were great. There’s parking at the house, air conditioning, two yettis, and a small beach. Wi-Fi and anchorage are free. Really recommend it!
