For a peaceful break without constant music or noise, Lun is a good choice. But after what happened today, I can’t recommend it to young groups. Some tourists from Germany and Austria seem to think they’re above the rest of us, and the neighbors keep complaining even when you’re simply there. If you want to have fun, go to the central resorts. I’ll try Rab Island for a year and write about how I felt there. I’m sorry I can’t say anything better. I’d recommend Lun only to pensioners who have nothing to do but watch their neighbors. Where’s the good old Croatia? Sunturist also falls far short of what it promises. Better than average, I suppose.

The place is kept clean and looked after, and the owners are lovely. Terraced spots by the sea are reached by steps, while pretty coves are only a short drive away.

It takes about 10-20 minutes to walk to the beach, depending on which part you’re heading for. The port, shop, and fruit stand are closer, around five minutes away. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and always ready to lend a hand.
