I never write reviews, but I had to make an exception for Apartment Arya. After more than 15 years working in tourism and staying in camps, cruise ships, hotels, motels, B&Bs, and apartments, this was the best accommodation experience I've had by far. I spent one night there last June during a motorcycle trip through Croatia with friends. The neighborhood was quiet, yet restaurants and the promenade were an easy seven-minute walk away. The apartment was spotless, beautifully and cosily furnished, and had two bathrooms. One bedroom had its own bathroom, which worked well for another couple or a group of friends eager to shower after a ride. It had everything we needed, including AC, a stove, maps, tour guides, and board games. I didn't get to meet Danijel in person, but communication was smooth, and Danijela followed through perfectly on everything we'd arranged by email. She's also a local tour guide and can take you around the city and nearby area. You won't regret staying at Apartment Arya. Danijela, thanks for the cold beers! I was as happy as a kid in a candy store :)

The apartment was lovely and clean, and the owners were friendly and professional. Parking was the one downside.

The apartment was new, comfortable, and very clean, and our host was so friendly. We had an excellent stay, would happily recommend it, and will definitely come back.

Right in the center of Makarska, this spacious apartment was really nice. There's a great restaurant next door. We'll be back!
