Deak apartment, where we stayed, is spotless but very basic, and it's on the ground floor. The uphill walk back to it was the one thing I didn't enjoy. The lady and her son were lovely hosts, very friendly and helpful. We were welcomed with a nice bottle of red wine and got a small gift when we left. I'd definitely recommend the apartment.

Getting back from the beach meant a fairly steep climb, which was the one downside. Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay at Deak apartment in Makarska. It was comfortable, clean, and very well equipped, and the hosts were so welcoming and helpful, making sure we had a great visit. The beach and local attractions were only a few minutes away on foot. We'd definitely recommend staying here for a holiday in Makarska.
