Apartments Jakova Dudana 10

The location is lovely, with the port nearby, the beach not far away, and the old town close too. The apartment itself was clean and neat, but the stay had some uncomfortable moments. After driving 1000 km, we wanted to shower and use the toilet as soon as we arrived. The hostess stayed by the entrance, watching our bags, and wouldn’t leave, which felt odd. Later, when we asked for dish soap, she first told us to go to the shop. She brought some back around five minutes later after seeing our reaction. There was no soap or shower gel either, so bring your own toiletries or you may end up washing with water or going out to buy basics in the evening. We also had trouble getting privacy. The hostess kept knocking and trying the handle while we were changing, at different times, including early morning and late evening. It stopped after I asked her son to give us some space. I worried she might enter while we were out, and that did happen. I set up a camera and saw her come into the room freely while we were away. Be aware that she may go in and manage the apartment herself when you leave. It’s a shame, because the location is beautiful, but there’s always that “but.”
