Maja at reception was so kind and helpful, especially with our baby pram and suggestions for places nearby. The person handling breakfast was also very attentive and even helped get some food ready for the baby 🤩 We had a lovely stay at Hotel Porin Makarska. It’s modern, furnished beautifully, and has a great location and view. I’d highly recommend it for families.

We had a great view from apartman no.8, and having a private jacuzzi on the roof of the room was a nice touch. Breakfast was tasty and healthy, too. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and pleasant. Mrs. Maja at reception deserves a mention for showing us around and telling us about interesting things in the area. Thanks so much, see you in a few months ;)

We were pleasantly surprised by the start of the Advent season, which brought a cozy, lovely feel to the area around the hotel. This is a charming little place with good value for money, right in the heart of Makarska, so getting around was easy. Warmly recommended!

The breakfast was hearty and excellent, with local produce. The team were professional, warm, and gave us personalized service. It’s perfectly located, too. We’re looking forward to coming back!

I regret choosing this place. We paid 450€ per night, but the hottub wasn't working. The basic things we expected, like having the air-conditioning turned on before we arrived and being able to enjoy the comfort we paid for, weren't taken care of. There was no service at all, and the staff seemed not to care about us or what we needed. Of the 10 hotels we stayed at in Croatia, this was by far the worst value for the money.
