The walk to the sea takes some planning. It’s about 25-40 minutes each way, and the return is especially difficult. Still, given the price and quality, I felt it was worth it. Our third-floor apartment had a lovely view over the sea and city. It was clean, and I was genuinely surprised by how thoroughly it had been cleaned. There was everything we needed, including a kitchen set up for a family with children, so it worked well for spending time with family or friends.

From the roof terrace, the view over nearly all of Makarska and the sea is stunning, a lovely place to relax and daydream. The penthouse was tastefully furnished, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open living, dining, and kitchen area. It was very clean, and the landlady was accommodating and helpful. There’s a lockable garage. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and the town center is close too. I’ll definitely return, highly recommend it!
