Hotel Maritimo

Parking was easy, and breakfast was delicious, especially the coffee. The room was lovely, with great air conditioning and brilliant facilities. Everything was so clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. 10/10.

The breakfast was really good for a three-star hotel, and I especially loved the cakes. The rooms are spacious, and the hotel is right by the beach. There’s a garage beside it, but you need to reserve a space.

The walk into town and the harbour takes about 10 minutes along a spectacular car-free path beneath the fir trees, following the beach. There are plenty of boat trips, and the harbour and headland are worth exploring, though it’s just as nice to sit and relax. The hotel’s peaceful setting and lovely staff made for a five-star week, and the food was excellent, with generous portions and lots of choice. You’ll probably need to diet when you get home! The stony beach is right outside, so bring beach shoes. We’ll certainly return to Hotel Maritimo.

We hadn’t booked, but stopped by this cozy hotel restaurant while staying nearby. The fish plate was the best meal we had during our Croatian holiday, and the service was attentive too. We came back on our last day for the breakfast buffet, which was the best breakfast we’d had in a long time. Definitely give the fish plate a try!
