Villa Palladium

The sea views and privacy made this a lovely spot, and the beach was about a 10-minute walk away. The villa sits a little uphill, so coming back from the beach meant a climb. With a car, it was easy to reach other beaches too. We stayed a week as a family of six. The bedrooms were roomy and each had its own bathroom, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The house was clean and tidy, the air conditioning worked very well, and we spent plenty of time on the terrace by the private pool, using the comfortable loungers and big dining table. Our host was great and easy to reach. I’d happily recommend it.

The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, and communication was great before, during, and after booking. The villa had everything we needed for a holiday. I can’t imagine a better place to celebrate my 50th birthday with friends. We’ll be back ❤️

We had a great week in Makarska, even late in the season when plenty of places were still open for food and drinks. Our host arranged a private speedboat trip for the six of us around the three islands you can see from town. It was great fun and good value, and I’d recommend it. Special thanks to Ankica, who was always there to answer questions and help out. She said her job was to make sure we had a great holiday, and she certainly did that. The villa had a lot of space and a really high standard of finishes and furnishings. It was one of the best stocked places I’ve stayed in, with loads of appliances, dishes, cutlery, cleaning supplies, and condiments. Being partway up the hill gave us lovely water views, especially from the penthouse hot tub. The terrace and pool area were great places to unwind. We’ll definitely come back.

Having a car was useful for day trips to Dubrovnik, Split, Mostar, and the islands. Peter was a delightful captain. We had a beautiful villa with a very well equipped kitchen, and the host family were so kind and responsive. They handled every request within minutes. We had a wonderful stay in Makarska.
