The staff who checked me in were friendly and did a great job. Their hospitality made me feel they really cared about guests, and I noticed straight away how clean everything was. The villa looked just as elegant and gorgeous as in the pictures. I had a really great time here, would recommend! 👍🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

I was disappointed by this stay. The website for Villa Riva and its partner sites gives information that I believe is wrong. The villa is described as 100m from the beach, but it is 500m or more from the main beach and also about 500m from Osejava hotel's beach. Those distances can be checked on Google Maps. The restaurant is said to be 10m away, perhaps only in a straight line. There is nowhere in the villa to get coffee, so you have to go to a nearby restaurant on the Makarska riva. The villa is rated four stars, but has no terrace or elevator to the third floor, so be prepared to carry your suitcases. The receptionist is never at the desk, and you have to call her. Since I was roaming, the calls pushed my phone bill up a lot. The staff seemed very unprofessional, and the restaurant prices were very high. I don't think the high ratings for this villa are justified, perhaps they come from requests at reception.

The cleaning was not up to standard, and the staff were unprofessional. At checkout, the car was blocked in and the cleaning lady locked us in, nearly making us miss our flight.

The rooms were clean and the staff were nice. The restaurant usually has fresh fish, so it's worth trying. Ask the waiters how they suggest preparing it, and you'll really enjoy the meal :)
